Review: The Face Shop Gelato Tint [TesterKorea Beauty Tester]

It's hard not to be completely starry-eyed about the flood of cute-looking products coming in from South Korea, especially those lip products. That's the reason why, when a Korean beauty brand introduces a new lip product, my ears always perk up. So recently, The Face Shop has launched a new lip tint called Gelato Tint.

First of all, let me introduce you to my most favorite online retailer for Korean-beauty product hauls; Tester Korea. If you've been following my blog for a while, you may remember me mentioning this online store in some of my reviews before, because I really enjoyed ordering from Tester Korea. They provides an impressive range of products from a lot of Korean beauty brands at a reasonable price, and you can even request them to stock a specific product for you. They offers a large variety of samples and deluxe trial sizes for sale as well. Actually the size of this lip tint is a bit smaller than regular lip tints, but the packaging of this lip tint is super duper cute and eye-catching, because they made it in an ice cream shape! This product also comes in a transparent box. The doe-foot applicator is attached to the top part, which is made from rubber material, while the cone part is made from plastic.

This lip tint is available in six different shades; #01 New York Cheese Beige,  #02 Strawberry And Cream, #03 Red Fall In Love, #04 Disappear With Red, #05 Brown Bonbon, and #06 Cherry Burgundy Mousse. They also have different yummy flavors such as vanilla, grape, watermelon, chocolate, and mango. I think some of the shades look kinda similar, so I decided to choose the most different one.. #05 Brown Bonbon.

This shade has a very strong scent and it smells just like chocolate ice cream. Well, I think it may be too overpowering for some of you who don't like sweet scent.

This shade is a warm brownish red color, and it's very pigmented. I think this shade is so pretty, and this red color is still wearable for daily look.

It has a mousse texture with velvety finish, and applies smoothly on the lips. It doesn't dry out my lips as well. However, I find the lasting power of this lip tint is average, it's not transfer-proof and it fades away after a meal, but it does leave a hint of red stain on the lips though.
