Review: Etude House Look At My Eyes #RD301

If you are afraid to wear red eyeshadow.. do not worry, you are not alone! Red eyeshadow is quite scary for me, umm I mean it will just attract a lot of attention if I wear it, and I think red is a tricky color when it comes to the eye makeup. It makes you look ill or even like you have an allergic reaction if you wear it incorrectly. Yeah I have experienced it before, that is why I very rarely wear red eyeshadow.. and this Etude House Look At My Eyes in RD301 is the second red eyeshadow that I have tried~

This is a single eyeshadow, and it comes in a round plastic container. Umm yeah honestly the packaging of this eyeshadow is simple and quite boring for me.

And as you can see.. the hearts are embossed on the eyeshadow, which is so cute~

So.. RD301 is a nice shade of red with a very subtle gold shimmer, and I must admit that this shade is super pretty.

It is very pigmented, blendable, and the shimmer does not fall out.. which is a plus point. But unfortunately it looks way more pink rather than red on my skin, even with or without eye primer ughh it is just a shame >__<

And here is how it looks on my eyelid with eye primer~
I use a clean eyeshadow brush and lightly pat on the eyeshadow all over my eyelid..
And guess what, my mom thought that I have a stye on my eye LOL

So I decided to apply matte brown eyeshadow on the outer-V and apply white eyeshadow on the inner lid to make this eyeshadow more wearable for daily look. Umm I think this eye-makeup looks quite natural for everyday makeup la~

And as you can see.. this eyeshadow does not look red at all, so I do not recommend you to buy this eyshadow if you are looking for a true red eyeshadow. But the quality of this eyeshadow is quite great, and it makes me want to try the other shades ^^
