Okay I just realized that most of my beauty-product reviews on this blog are from Asian brands, especially from Korea lol. So.. I decided to review some Western beauty-products as well (sometimes), I hope you are okay with this! Oh well, I bought the latest lip product from Maybelline, Bold Matte lipstick in shade MAT2 last month. But sorry, I forgot to review this lipstick lol XD
Product description :
- Hydrating matte with honey nectar.
- Moisturizing agents like Rosa Canina oil and Jojoba oil.
- Powderless matte pigments ensure true vivid shades.
And in Indonesia, this lipstick is available in 5 silky matte shades :
MAT1, MAT2, MAT5, MAT6, MAT7.
It is so affordable! But sorry I forgot the exact price of this lipstick, I think I bought it for about IDR 70.000 if I am not mistaken. Actually, the packaging of this lipstick is similiar like their normal Color Sensational range, but this one has a sturdy matte casing. Simple but still attractive.
So.. as you can see, MAT2 is a pretty bright coral shade with reddish tones. And it does not have any smell when you apply it on your lips yay!
And the formula is super great! The texture is very creamy, it glides onto my lips very smoothly and it's quite moisturizing, although this is a matte lipstick.
This lipstick is very pigmented!! But if you do not really like bold lips, do not worry because it gives you a sheer coverage on your lips in the first swipe, and it becomes very opaque in 4 - 5 swipes. And this lipstick is very comfortable to wear, because it feels extremely light~!
It stays on my lips for about 4 - 5 hours (even after eating and drinking), and it leaves a stain on my lips, I personally love the stained effect of this lipstick, it looks so natural and perfect for everyday look lol XD
