Review: Holika Holika Luminous Silk Aura Pact

Actually I was looking for a good loose powder to replace my Candy Doll Mineral Face Powder, because loose powder is more suitable for my oily-combination skin.

But unfortunately I think loose powder is not travel friendly and it is so inconvenient to touch-up my makeup! So.. this time I decided to try the compact one, and I bought this pact from a Korean beauty brand (Holika Holika) last May.

This Aura Pact is part of the family from Holika Holika 'Luminous Silk' line, which also consists of Starter, BB Cream, Pact, and Highlighter. I do not know why but I was not interested in them except this pact lol xD
By the way, this pact is available in two shades : #1 Light Beige and #2 Natural Beige. And I bought the darkest shade in Natural Beige for IDR 144.000.

Okay I must admit that the main reason why I bought this pact because of the cute packaging lol. It comes in a soft pink-silk packaging with those lace prints.
It looks so pretty, luxurious, and girly~ 

When I opened it, it just looks like a regular pact.

Nothing special, you will find a mirror and a puff inside.

But I noticed that the puff is really soft and fluffy~!

It is great for touch-up, so you do not need to bring your brush everywhere lol

And as you can see, there is a clear plastic separator between the puff and the powder~

And there is a super-cute lace pattern on the powder omooo~

Honestly I did not dare to touch this pact for about a week because I just did not have the heart to fade the pattern away lol xD

And here is the swatch on my hand~

As you can see my right hand looks brighter than my left hand, and it could improve the texture of my skin.

 It slightly smells like baby powder for me, and it matches my skin tone perfectly.

The coverage is quite good, it makes my skin look more flawless, smoother and brighter. But do not apply too much or it would look so cakey and a little bit flaky errr~ So I suggest you, just pat the powder on your face, then brush away the excess powder!

The staying power of this pact is just so-so, only for about 2 - 3 hours on my oily-combination skin. Usually I use this pact as a setting powder after apply my BB cream, and sometimes I only use this pact if I was too lazy to do my makeup lol xD But never skip your moisturizer, okay?!

Overall.. this pact is not too bad for me, considering it is not too expensive and the packaging is very cute. So, I recommend you to try this pact if you are looking for affordable great pact~ ^^
